I'm going to go with, he was logged on to facebook and someone else added him as a fan of as a joke so people like you would wonder about him.
Maybe clicked the wrong button? About a month ago I ignored a friend of mine who was trying to add me as a friend, Ignore button is right next to Add as a Friend button, things happen.
Or...maybe the dude loves cock. I mean, I guess there less painful/awkward ways to come outta the closet.

would it change anything if he was a fan of a male pr0n star who did straight pr0n?
peter north used to do gay pr0n
peter north used to do gay pr0n

That would be akin to being a fan of a hockey, basketball, or football player because of what (or who) he does, not because you find him personally attractive. You're admiring their skill or position, not them (in general) as a person or because of their physical traits.
Admiring or being a fan of a gay pr0n star would indicate at least one of the following:
1. You envy or admire what/who he does, which makes you gay.
2. You envy or admire him physically, which makes you gay.
3. You aspire to be like him (a combination of the above), which makes you gay.
I'm pretty sure he's not a fan of the guy because he's intelligent and witty.

I'm pretty sure he'd have to be on the guy's Facebook site to become a fan of his.

No, if in your news feed someone becomes a fan of something if comes up and you can simply click "become a fan" without looking at more than the name of the person.
