Let's start a thread where we name a "regular" title with a new "modern" title.

Example:

Trash Man = Sanitation Engineer

and

Cashier = Monetary Specialist

Should be funny to see. . .

 

Cashier = Tender Exchange Technician

Cashier = Currency Exchange Officer

 

When I was in high school I worked for a PC board manufacturer. One of my duties was to electroplate nickel, then gold, onto the contact fingers on the boards.

When I applied for a credit card I listed my occupation as "electro-chemical engineer".

I got the card.

 

S2K Driver = Quality Assurance Performance Engineer

 

housewife = domestic engineer

When asked about education, my wife tells people she has her MRS, and MOM
