Meat was over this weekend and we were tweaking some of my cars for 1/4 mile and top speed. The best 1/4 ET was in the high 8's at about, I think, 150 by one of the F-1 cars that I have. But the craziest car of the day was the Escudo....turning just over 9 seconds at 193 MPH! That damn thing is like a fighter jet...!

Hilarious!

So, then we geared the Escudo for wide gearing and messed around with the final drive ratio and aerodynamics and stuff...got that bad boy up to 292 MPH. Of course, it has the biggest turbo on it, racing compounds and lots of other goodies...pumping out something like 1800 ponies. And a .5 power to weight ratio....! This also makes the car completely undriveable on a rally course. But on the test course, it's one bad machine!

What are your top speed and 1/4 mile times in GT3? And in what cars?

Yea, I've gotten my Escudo up to just over 300mph on the back straight of the test circuit. I haven't tested any 1/4-mile times, though.

What's even more fun is to try and rally in that bad boy with it in full tune.

Save the money. . .

The Escudo is given to you when ALL Rally races are complete. . .

Then do some upgrades, which will boost the Hp to approximatley 1872. . . I've gotten the Escudo upto 283 on the test course with 0 downforce, fresh oil, and no stability control. . .

ICEMAN is correct...win all the Rally Races and you get a free Escudo. You have to win them anyway, you may as well get it that way!

Yea, I bet the car is good for just over 300mph, as the Max Speed Test only lets you around about 3/4 of the course. It would be slow going from 290 on up to the top speed, but it is definitely doable. I need to change the oil, that's the one thing that I didn't do.

Cool stuff...

If you want to see what the car is capable of, turn around and run the test track clockwise. That way you can run as many laps as you want.

On another note, the test track is no doubt the most boring course in the game ... I hate to do it when it's included in a series race. Best one for me, is no doubt the complex string.
