Default Favorite Beer

Far too many people (imo) are content with drinking "beer" the likes of Bud and Miller. I thought I'd list a few of my favorite beers for the unenlightened to try and hopefully make believers out of them:

Dark:
Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager

Not so Dark:
Boddington's
Pyramid Hefenweizen

The list goes on...

Anyone else?

Favorite beer is Heineken. Not only because of taste but it agrees with my body very well. Domestic beer will give me a headache or stomach ache half the time.
I like to try diffrent beers from time to time but stay away from flavored beers. My sister brought some real beer home to me from Octoberfest in Germany I don't remember the brand but it was excellent.

Guiness
Dechutes Mirror Pond
New Belgium Brewing Blue Paddle Pilsner
McMenamin's Raspberry Stout (the only fruit beer I like)
Corona w/ lime (it's a Jimmy Buffett thing, you wouldn't understand ).

I'm sure there are others, but these are the current favorites...

Its a full bodied barleywine style brew that ahas a nice color, yeasty and bitter flavor and 9.6% alcohol. I love it byt if I drink more than two I lose your ability to type and am going to be hungover tomorrooww. It is both a blessing and a ducurse tha t they noly sell it in the; spring timd of the yeart ?>. If your like beer but haven't tried it you owe to it yourself to pick ukup a sixer.

Guntersmurf....hahaha....good one.

mmmmm.....beeer

One of my favorite topics!

Here are a few of my faves:

Hacker Pschorr Weisse. The *regular* Weise, not the Krystal, not the Oktoberfest, not the dark that I can't remember the name of. All of the other ones are N A S T Y.

And of course, Guinness (since I'm Irish).

Nothing out of cans, except Fosters and of course Heineken on the golf course. I don't know why Heineken tastes so good out of those little barrel cans on the links, but they hit the spot!

Sierra Nevada Porter for this time of year (off the shelf)

And the best micro brew I've ever had is Moose's Tooth IPA. Course it's not available outside of AK but they have lots of awards from the Great American Beer Festival.
