Calvin and Hobbes are sitting on the sofa looking through the TV guide to decide on a movie to watch (I paraphrase):

Calvin: This one says "adult situations". What do you think that means?

Hobbes: Oh, you know: paying taxes, balancing the chequebook, that sort of thing.

Calvin: Wow! I'm glad they warned us!

 

Far Side had always been my favorite. I like the one with the boneless chicken farm and all the chickens ar laying around on the ground and fence posts like globs of feathers. Gary Larson has a Steven Wright kind of humor.

 

Exactly! What ever happened to Steven Wright? Loved his wit...

I have to agree with Calvin and Hobbes as the best cartoon strip ever! So sad it has ended.

I also liked the strip "Outland" by Berkeley Breathed. Loved Opus the penguin and Bill the cat.
