Default favorite director and

ok so i rarely come over to the off topid side but i was watching resevoir dogs and realized that i love the way tarantino directs. hes so breakthrough its like a modern hitchcock. i love how he shows some things and doesnt show other. i love how he hops around in time with all the movies. the stylized violence is often criticised put its not the point of it. its like hes showing how people see this violence. when someone gets shot people think they fly across the room and thats what he does. so the question is who is your favorite director and WHY?

Robert Rodriguez, cause he gave my daughter her break in the movies - producing and directing.

Be sure to watch Big Brother Tuesday. She is a segment producer and is responsible for several of the segments and teasers this week.

M Night Shamalan

Just like his product.

I also like SPielberg but I know that is a weak answer, but he is creative.

Kubrick and Coppola. I'm also digging The French New Wave in general.
