Scotch on the rocks. I'm not too picky, but Chivas Regal is a good everyday scotch. Johnny Walker Green or blue on special occasions.

Pick one? Tequila. I much prefer a smooth mid-grade, say a $40 Don Julio bottle over $20 for barely-drinkable Cuervo Gold. There is a huge taste and after-taste difference. Hangover feels about the same.

But in terms of variety it has to be vodka mixed drinks. I have no brand preference and if you push me to one mix for my perfect over-consumption it'd be Kamikaze's until I can't walk straight.

 

Always Jack and Coke for me when I go out. That stuff goes down like water for me.

 

if i drink liquor it's usually captain morgan in coke or cherry coke. but i'm a beer guy and usually do shots to start my night out ....snakebites are my favorite!

 

hard liquor straight is often the best way to get drunk at a bar $5 rum & coke or over twice as much liquor in a $10 whiskey on the rocks?

A good single-malt Scotch with a splash of water or on the rocks is good too once in a while. I drink way more vodka than anything else though, it doesn't give me a hangover at all. I have tried a lot of tequilas but I just can't find one I actually like. I was doing shots of Patron one night and I seriously thought I was going to die; I'd rather drink Cuervo than that stuff.
