Short term interest, as I understand it from CNBC's commentary today, has no real impact on mortgage rates, in fact, it may even go up.

That's exactly what I said.
1. it has no impact on mortgage rate directly
2. it stimulate the market, which may in term raise the mortgage rates

Why can't they wait?
Let me get a good mortgage rate, then they can drive the market up all they want.......I'm tired of of shrinking 401k too.....

I haven't found anyone who could refinance my FHA loan at no cost to me. Found some streamline though.
