I love rebecca romijn, and was wondering if Femme Fatale DVD was worth buying?

Is the story at least decent?

YES! It's PURE Brian De Palma. If you love De Palma's most famous films, the thrillers like "Dressed to Kill," "Blowout," or "Body Double" then this one is for you. I thought it was way cool.

I saw it at the theatre, just for the strip scene Rebecca does and the lesbian scenes. Overall the movie sucks.

I really think it's unfair to say "it sucks." I just looked up the movie on Rottentomatoes.com, and in their poll, the major critics were split basically 50/50 on this film. It's not a standard Hollywood thriller; it's more intelligent than that. People who are expecting a simple, linear plot will be perplexed by this film. It has everything to do with your appreciation for subtlety.

The best way to analyze it is to compare to other De Palma films. If you like Dressed to Kill, Blowout, and Body Double, you will like this. Just ask yourself if you liked those movies. Simple.

Sorry if I seem overbearing, but I really see this as an overlooked gem from last year. It's annoying to see it dismissed with "it sucks." That's the kind of comment you reserve for a real piece of shit, like "Titanic."

To make this movie worth it for me to buy, how are the strip scenes and lesbian scenes?

I guess I should have just asked this question from the begining...

Ok, I was harsh, but that was simply the only word I had when I walked out of the theatre. Tim asked if it's worth buying, I say no. I wasted 6, I don't want someone else to waste $13.

Tim if you want I can get the DVDrip of it.
