Figured I might as well ask my fellow S2K owners
So here's the deal:
As you can see in my sig, I have 4 cars. In reality, I have access to three since I gave the Maxima to my father. So I am left with the CRX, S2000, and the Integra. Here's the situation I am facing. My little brither is off to college soon and I never drive my S2000. So I thought to myself the other night that I could give my brother the Integra(his minivan has WAY to many miles to make it to school. Plus he's a good kid and will be getting into some great schools Harvard and the likes, so I thought I could give him a gift). Then I could sell the S2000 and buy a replacement car for both. The cars I am primarly looking at are: 2K-2K1 S4, perhaps a 2K 540, or a 2K1 M3.
What about the CRX you ask... well that's my project car and my baby... she's not being sold.
My real main issue is that I don't think the S4 is enough of a car to replace the S2000 as far as sporty and fun factor. 540 is more on the comfort side... M3 none turbo.
Your thoughts?
Thanks,

My personal opinion is you sell the S2000, and get your hands on the new WRX STI that is being released over the summer. 2.5L turbo 4 with 300hp and 300 lbs of torque. Not only is this car going to be a monster bone stock(more hp and torque than a skyline R34 with a superior AWD system and less weight), but it will also reach the 400 hp mark without much trouble on the stock turbo. This car may not be luxurious, but it will definitely have the fun factor in performance as well as the durability to take whatever you can dish out. It also has a driver adjustable AWD DCCD system where you can actually adjust the power ratio between the front and rear wheels to tailor the driving conditions(rain vs. snow vs. dry).
Audi reliability would scare me to death (do a search on my user name and Audi to find out why).
Personally, if I *had* to give up the S2000 and go with one of the choices you listed, I'd go with the M3

I would also go with the M3 if you are looking for a sportier car out of those choices. I love my S4 and it's as much fun as my S2K but there have been a few posts on Audiworld.com about blown turbos (mostly with the chip). However, if you get the a 2001 with the upgraded turbos the rate of failure is less. My S4 and my friend's S4 have been very reliable. We're both chipped. It's fast and I love the AWD stability and fun factor in the rain. But the stock handling sucks. You should get a nice set of coilovers or shocks/springs. I don't like the quality of the interior of my friends WRX. Not sure if the STi will be improved or not. That would be the only reason I would not get one. But based on price, it can't be beat. If I were you, I would get the new 350Z track version or if something cheaper, the Mini S.
shing: wait a few months and get the WRX or get the Mitsu EVO VIII
