Default FIL broke my lawn mower...

My father in law, in all his wisdom, put gasoline in my lawn mower's oil reservoir now the damned thing (only 3 months old) is dead - won't even start. it was a cheapie i got from Meijer, but i'm not sure if i should fix the mower or get another one...

any suggestions?

I know people who have 11+ year old honda mowers!

You can get the one above (if you look around) for about $250-$300 bucks. The model is HRR216PDA.

There are always landscapers selling off equipment there, and you can get some great deals. I paid $500 for a used 36" cut Toro mower four years ago, and it's still going strong. It costs around $3200 new

If his FIL (what a goofy acronym) is clueless (sorry FIL) enough to put gas into the oil filler, he is bound to be limbless after using that thing!
