Wink FILA / Honda Racing Shoes!

Looks like FILA finally wised up and signed a deal to produce HONDA shoes! I always hated the idea of wearing Puma Ferrari Shoes since I don't own a Ferrari... Or Adidas BMW shoes as I no longer own a Bimmer...

But this is something I can get on board with!

I wonder if they have the lateral reinforcement of the Piloti's I've been considering...

They look more narrow. Has anyone seen them in stores?

Yeah!

When I first heard about it I was like... ugh... FILA? But no - they turned out awesome, that link has pictures of all the colors too. AND they're only $65.

Too bad they didn't do a Black/Yellow for the CR guys.

Eh... I wouldn't really put these on par with Pilotis...

I mean, Piloti's are purpose built... They are more for fun/representing... Like the Puma Ferrari Shoes or the BMW Adidas... maybe a little drivers-focused adjustments, but definitely not 'raceing' shoes.

Pilotis, Puma Speedcats, Sabelts are all kinda on their own IMO.

This would have been awesome when I was in High School. I used to make engine noises and shift while I walked.
Anways, very cool nonetheless.

They had them in my size (13) at my local shoe store. Fit and finish looks good, and they're comfortable enough. I wouldn't put them on par with the Puma racing shoes however (I have speedcats, and I love them). The sole is too thick, and I don't think they transfer as much feedback through the shoes. While I really liked the design (saw the blue and the red), something about them I just couldn't get over.

I dunno, pretty cool shoe though, especially for us Honda boys.
