Default File Conversion: .mp4 ?

My mobile phone (Sony Ericsson P900) has the ability to play .mp4 files. However, I can't seem to figure out how to convert files into that format. Anyone know how?

Thanks.

Are you talking about video or audio here?

Ok, that smart movie converter worked. However, it puts this big "DEMO" logo for a duration of the video. Does anyone know of any free software that'll convert the files into .mp4 format? Or know of any P900 phone software that I might be able to use? Thanks again.

iTunes won't help you with video -- however the media component driving iTunes will (QuickTime).

In order to edit movies and such, you need to upgrade to QuickTime Pro IIRC.

If that's out of the question, point me to the video you need converted as well as the pixel dimensions you'd like the MP4 to be output as. I'll see what I can't do for you.
