Final Launch of Discovery @ 4:50 PM EST
I have never seen a shuttle launch even though I have lived in FL all of my life.
It looks like there are 2 missions remaining. 1 for Endeavour on April 19th and 1 for Atlantis on June 28, 2011. I WILL be making it to one of these final launches so I can experience it.

I went down in 7th grade for one and it got postponed too long so we ended up leaving. Much later we made it down for another and it actually got off on time thankfully. We were in the friends and family section, because my dad knew the commander, but damn is that still far away.
Clear day though, got a great view.
Still an incredible thing to watch.

Or the "BUFF" B-52, now that's old technology even with the upgrades.
