Where do you go on your first date when you usually go to get coffee, but the person you'll be dating works at a coffee shop (and that is where you met)

She seems like a genuinely good girl ( ), not a hoe ( )... so I'm getting all worried about it.

i think lunch or coffee at night is nice. but dinner/movie is too much for a first date. especially a movie.. girls like to get to know a guy as well as talk endlessly about themselves early on. a movie's may be sort of weird for the girl because it's not really a way to get to know another person (keep your minds out of the gutter..).

since it's winter, i'd say coffee. if it were spring, lunch at an nice outdoor restaurant is good.

EDIT: first line doesn't imply "lunch at night".. just lunch.....at lunch preferably..... space....... or coffee at night.

must just be me then, coffee, means that you are stuck with each other looking for conversation. What if you don't click? What if there is nothing to talk about? What if she is annoying as hell?

No, turbo, you're correct. There is some pressure to come up with ideas for conversation... but it weeds out the "cold, silent types". If we don't click right away, then I'd rather not waste my time with her anyway. If we seem to be pleased with each other after a few minutes, then I become the "adventurous, creative" guy and suggest we go somewhere else (like the beach, movie or some place she might have mentioned she enjoyed).
