No, no cats on an LHD ship. I am an Aviation Electronics Technician on an MH-53 Sea Dragon. I'm not attached to the ship at all. It was just the ship our birds went out to for an excercise with the Panamanian Navy.

Nice pics. Jealous I never did it.

I went to all the recruiters in HS and said "Can I fly an A-10?" nope.

"F-16?" nope. "Apache?" nope. Go down the list. Bad eyesight.

Still nice to live vicariously through those who post their adventurous pics.

What ship is that? My buddy is a Command Master Chief on the Pelileau in San Diego. He took me on a tour of it last summer. Your pics look very familiar.

HooRah I got outa the Navy about a little over a year ago.. I never stepped foot on a ship though.. Except for a tour of a carrier when I was stationed at Souda Bay, Crete Greece. I was with the Seabeez and I miss the people alot.. I dont miss the PT and early morning musters and all that!
