flex spending acct
short story, got stuck with $1200 in my FSA acct. any ideas for things i can spend it on? i have an eye exam scheduled for next week...i think i can get a year's worth of contacts and maybe a new pair of glasses...if i get nice stuff i figure i can use up about $4-500 worth. if i'm lucky, i can get an appt in with my dentist...maybe another $500 there. otherwise...lots of $$$ available.
what useful things can i get short of boxes and boxes of condoms?

Do you play sports or spend a lot of time on your feet? If yes, get a pair of orthodics custom-fit for your sneakers or shoes.
I did it last year when I was in your same postion with an FSA. It was one of the best things I did from a 'health' perspective.

You would go to a Podiatrist (foot doctor). Mine were $400. They helped with some lower back pain I was having. When I wear shoes (leather dress shoes) where they don't fit, I can really feel a difference.
It is a bit 'excessive' if you don't really need them but if you are going to lose the money, I would try it.
