Read my post carefully, then decipher its meanings. Your dad may work for a foreign airline in a position that is based in the U.S., but they would not hire him to work as an attendant that is based in their own country. For example, I may work for China Airlines in my local airport as a counter ticket agent, check-in agent, etc., but they would not hire me as an attendant because of they are based out of their headquarter and are subject to international hiring procedures.

I might add, I was about 22 years old and a fresh college grad on one of my 1st business trips of my career, so.... LOL
