i agree -- and it would never really be right -- if this were a civic daily driver, okay, but this is a car you want to be right --

that car is totally useless in my opinion...... even if you bought it for parts, the parts are not worth much. A perfect used engine / tranny swap is worth about $3k these days..... there simply is nothing to put them in.....other than a super 7 kit car or someone elses S2000....but there is not much demand for that.

If someone could make a Civic accept this engine then you would have some demand.

Airbags are worth about $500 for the pair (that is what I got for mine).

Nice to see the Rollbar/Head Protection thingy didn't break and the A pillars held up pretty well considering.

Angel - look at the guy in Maryland who has been trying to sell his engine/ tranny swap for $4k (or any reasonable offer as he says)....he has had no luck and it has been a few weeks.

I think alot of times people like to blow smoke and offer $, but in the end they back out alot of times.

I would value the engine/tranny at $3k tops..... airbags $500... seats and carpet, etc.. $500... not sure what else is sellable...wheels are most likely bent... tires - $100...

true...and sometimes it is a matter of being at the right time and the right place....the guys I was dealing with I had dealt before so I knew they were serious on the offers....super 7 was what he was building and that is all he needed and was left....

The seats were going for $ 400, tranny for a grand, dash for $ 400, HIDs and headlamps for another $ 400.....after that there is a lot of $ 50-$ 75 crap....
