Side note: I feel bad for the homeless guy. He stole that $100 so he could stay at the local detox center and get some help. He felt bad about it after and told the truth, and was condemned for it. Sigh.

I thought I heard he did that on purpose, because the conditions in prison are actually better and he could get healthcare. If not him, then a copycat.

Yes, let's kill a jury for upholding the law of the land... basically the last thing that makes us American. Like the defense said "The science ended at 'We can't even tell you the cause of death'". If you want to kill the jury, might I offer you my psychologists phone number and/or a plane ticket to Afghanistan. Shariah law and public opinion execution with a lack of any scientific evidence at all is more popular over there. I for one am happy that we can still hold onto our last saving grace; innocent until proven guilty... no matter how much that bitch deserves hell on Earth.
How on EARTH do you people expect for a reasonable jury to find her guilty?
1)Is she dead, yes.
2)How did she die? We don't know.
3)When did she die? We don't know.
4)Where did she die? We don't know.
Even though the media did not give her a fair trial, the jury was smart enough to not let emotions play a role, and focused solely on evidence provided...of which there is none, so no conviction. BTW, not guilty does not mean innocent. It just means that there was NOT ENOUGH evidence to obtain a conviction. Thank god we don't live in China. Although this is am emotional case, there could be very similar cases where YOU might be on trial for something, and you better hope the jury is as levelheaded as this....think my cousin vinny.

You know she will get a huge payday, but there is an easy solution for that injustice, substitue a smart jury for her dumb one. Zanny the Nanny just slapped her with papers for defamation. You know the woman who Casey said took her kid when she saw her name on a appartment application. Her life has been ruined. Just have a jury award her far more that Casey could ever earn from media deals and at least she does not get rich.
She may be out of jail but if she ends up an unemployable, broke-ass loser harassed by people every time she goes out in public, well then, it aint so bad.
