found a phone that i assume some girl (based on the wallpaper pic and flower phone cover) lost.... it has been at my mall store for 2 weeks now... i keep charging it thinking they would do the "find my phone" deal...

it is an iphone 7 or 8 or 9 or 10... i am too stupid to know other than it doesn't have a headphone jack......

I have no idea what service it had to it... it has a code to get into it, and i dont know it.

anyway.... what should i do with it.... can i use it since they aren't coming to get it.

 

it has an icloud account so it is useless..... good to know.....

 

in the old days I found a phone and I located the owner's mother in their contacts and I called the mother to come pick it up. that was before phones had passwords. No idea what you can do with that phone ? I don't use a password on my current phone, never seemed to have a need for one.

 

Looks like you're doing all you can to help the owner. What type of store?

If they have siri activated I think you can ask it to call someone. You could probably take it to an apple store and see if they can help though they won't unlock it.

 

Sometimes you can ask Siri "Who am I?"
Or try to ask Siri to call mom/dad etc

If there is no home button hold down Power (right side) and volume up button (left side) and see if the Medical ID has a contact or information

 

Used to, if they had ICE contacts set up they would show up on the Emergency call thing that did not require unlocking the phone. I dont think that is still the case, BUT if they set up their Medical ID stuff, it does show up there. So when you hit the home button and hit Emergency there will be an option to the lower left of the keypad that says Medical ID and it should have their name and possibly other info there.
