Free To Air Satellite
Anyone here use Free To Air satellite receivers here? An acquaintance of mine mentioned this type of setup for a house and I wanted to find out if it is a more affordable option that Cable/DirectTV/Dish Network or merely a supplement.
I understand Free To Air allows you to access lots of international channels, but frankly, that's not what I'm looking for. I also was not sure whether this type of box is legal or not, and what types of channels you legally have access to. I'm interested in network channels (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, Etc.) and other channels you can get on cable (Discovery Channel, Comedy Central, etc). I imagine you HAVE to pay for access to channels such as HBO.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
