Freelancing!
to supplement my income, i'd like to do some freelance work as a programmer. anyone know any places hiring, places i might go to look for jobs, etc? i already frequent rentacoder but most of the time, the retard posters there "I AM WANTING CLONE OF ALL PRODUCTS ON WWW.MICROSOFT.COM" with a max accepted bid of 100 bucks. im not exaggerating too much there. anyhow, yeah...comments, suggestions? (standard-C++ is my language of choice, but I can deal with perl, java, php, C and if the price is right, MFC )
barnacleez-- your signature has some sort of praise of cocaine. do you think somebody wants you to get your hands on their code/systems?
LordVagabond -- look at my avatar. convert that from binary, and whaddya get?
that's right. the Answer. you do know why that is the Answer don't ya? if not, I'd be happy to PM ya a hint... (atleast, what the Answer means to me, after I did some research. I swear the genius of D. Adams was both shrouded and illuminated by his consumption of alcohol...)

Good luck getting freelance work anyway. The jobs are scarce since all unemployed programmers are doing whatever they can to get any work. I've only made about $3000 in the past 3 years doing freelance.
Rent a coder sucks. I posted a project on there for fun. 300 hours for $100. Wow.
