WOW! I cannot even begin to imagine how awesome it must be to have such a powerful animal show that kind of affection!

it's indeed sweet, but could be very dangerous though >< sometimes big animals don't know how a little move can accidentally kill a human. lol somehow this reminds me of a story I heard when a woman in a circus band trained a tiger since it was small. When the tiger was old enough, the woman came up with a show where she puts her head in the tiger's mouth but tiger was well trained anyways and treated her like a mother so nothing dangerous ever happened. One time though, when they were performing the show, the tiger sneezed. As a result, the woman died. The tiger, knowing the incident and never seeing the trainer again, refused to eat anything and starved himself to death.

The first thing you learn about training horses is that you have to make them respect your space. You don't want a 900-lb. (or 1,200-lb., or 2,000-lb.) animal to spook at something and think he can get away by running through you.

I would never do that. I've seen lions make kills up close in East Africa. Their power is unbelievable. That lion could snap that woman's neck without trying.

That was great. At first I was thinking "holy crap" then it was more of an "aw" moment.

Must feel great to have such a large powerful animal be so affectionate.
