With Friends Like This, Who Needs Enemies?

Yesterday the US House of Representatives voted to expel James Traficant. There was only one vote in Traficant's favor. That vote came from Gary Condit.

With all of the support Traficant still has in his home district in Ohio, maybe he can give Condit a few pointers on rekindling his political career.

I'm still trying to figure out what he gains/gained by voting against the expellation. The only thing I can think of is that Condit wants a few more minutes of fame.
