Frozen HVAC lines. HELP PLEASE! It's hot!
My a/c lines on my home air conditioner are freezing. What could be causing this? Could it be a freon leak? I've cleaned the filters just now and shut down the unit (I don't have any spare filters right now). I'm going to let the unit thaw out and try to restart it. Does anyone else have any other ideas? Is there anything else I can try before I call the HVAC guys and spend a bunch of money? Please help! Thanks in advance!

You have either no or very little freon. I wouldn't bother trying to restart the unit again as you stand the risk of damaging the unit. You will need to call someone out.
As your house is only two years old you may still have a warranty covering it. You might want to start on finding out the contracting firm that installed it.

Every summer our A/C unit pumps out cold air for a day and then doesn't anymore. We have a leak on the hose and if there isn't pressure then the freon starts to leak. I wonder how much it will cost to fix or if it is just better off getting a new Air Conditioner for the home. Suggestions?
