Default Fry's electronics sucks!

So for my birthday my family gets me a 700 dollar onkyo home theater. I install it and it's great. I go back and buy the extended warranty because I've had reciever issues in the past. Well the thing has been in the shop 4 times now totaling 8 months away from my house. Not to mention that I have to move my huge and heavy TV and undo all of the connections and do the same again each time I bring it back.

So i told them I want a replacement and they gave me the runaround. So even though the employees lied to me and told me they'd replace it after three repairs the actual fine print says 3 repairs for the same problem. I talked to the asst. manager of the store and he was useless.

Please pass this on to your friends and family.

But do you think Onkyo also has a part in this? Maybe you should be boycotting Onkyo products because obviously their quality is not up to par. If I were you, I'd argue for money back instead of replacement. Good luck.

frys is just embarassing. They dont even deserve to be in bussiness, i dont know what thier problem is. from hiring assholes to giving you bullshit, they made it thier theme to screw the customer after he or she bought it. Once you buy it they go out of thier way to make your life hell. And what this bullshit about restocking items that have been opened and putting them on the shelf selling it over again like it was new?
for example i bought a notebook like 3 years ago and it had problems from the week after i brought it home. I took it in 6 times!!! count them 6 times!!!
omg, i will never buy anything from that piece of shit store. What makes me so angry is that even with all this bullshit they do they seem to be doing fine. The fact of the matter is they will still be in bussiness and prob. do even better later when the christmas season comes. These days it seems harder to find sotres that take pride in thier work and thier customers.
we need to start supporting those small bussiness/self owned bussiness more, cause these giants are just taking a crap all over what customer service is about.

- walking in the door seeing the return line backed up out the door EVERYday should tell you enough about the company

that's because people just buy the thing to try it out, then return it. i've heard their return policy is insane.
