Not really the best back yard to work with, but we're doing the best we can with it.
Before picture was when we first bought the house last summer, so empty and boring.

After:
Windmill Palm tree on the left, Mediterranean Fan Palm on the right, new flowerbed with annuals that Mina is planting, landscaping stones.
To come: more flowers, monkey grass in the back, and a wooden bench.

Ugh, I don't like this new gallery. I'll just host it myself.

 

It has a pool - good enough for me!

Seriously though, it looks good - how fast will those trees grow and provide shade?

 

They're slower growing / more cold hardy palm trees... so maybe when I'm in my thirties lol.
