This funny add reads:

For Sale: 2000 Honda S2000 16k miles. Like new! Serious inquires only. 32k FIRM!!!

I so want to call him and tell him I can get a brand new one for less then that. People have some funny ideas of what a car is worth. Just thought I would share.

 

Call him!! geez....some people seriously think they own a ferrari or something...

 

I have a funnier one. Some dealership placed an ad like this:

" 2001 Honda S2000: 6-sp; (blah blah blah)...a blast to drive...for a test drive, make sure you bring some towels." It's saying that you may wet, piss, or sweat yourself driving it. That's funny!

 

I don't think any 2000 Ferrari would cost $32K/firm ; unless you meant of depreciation.

 

i be seeing some ads in the newpaper saying "S2k - 5 speed"

 

the guy probably bought his S for over $40K in 2000 when the car first came out, and didn't realize that dealers are no longer charging markups on the car anymore.

another possibility is that there as a typo in the ad. maybe instead of $32K, the seller is actually asking for $22K.
