Funny guy at autozone
This Asian guy at autozone sat on this stone pillar type thing for literally 45 minutes on the phone. To be honest. I don't know how long after that he was there because I never came back haha.
GUY WAS LIKE SITTING ON HIS FEET LIKE A BIRD R SOMETHING
This is irrelevant. But funny.

Google Third World Squat. This is how a lot of people in different countries will sit, for decently long periods of time. Clearly this is something which Americans are not conditioned for.

"You'll notice that in third-world countries, there will be a lot of situations where people are hanging out or working, and rather than sitting or kneeling down, they squat. They can sit like this comfortably for hours. It seems like a simple thing and can be easily overlooked, but try it some time. The average North American adult can't even get into this position, let alone stay there for any length of time."

It's so funny you mention this. A lot of my asian friends sit like this while outside smoking or whatever. So much so that I made conversation about it and they all say it's just natural or something lol. I can't do it very long. My knees suck

I believe there is also a genetic trait involved here. To be able to sit like that your achilles have to be able to stretch to allow you into that position. My kid, his mom, and his grandpa can do it just fine, me on the other hand no way. I end up on my toes, or holding my arms out if I try to get my feet flat.
