No copyright? OK, so people will just spend millions producing high quality content so other people can steal it? Yeah right. Implanting memories...won't happen within the next century. You might get implants that will make you feel good/bad/etc., but no real memories.

The numbers are inflated, the currency fixed by the company, and the need low.
However, there are a bunch of lessons learned that will make whatever comes after Second Life an absolutely killer space.
