i think USA water polo is going to win the NBA title this year!!

I agree with sublime, although he might be sarcastic? The Lakers are not going to be that bad of a team next year. They'll have 3 excellent players with Gary Payton, Lamar Odom, and Kobe Bryant. Lamar will be a great addition. He is a very athletic power forward that can compete with the other great players of his position of the West, i.e. Duncan, Garnett, and Webber. People are complaining that the Lakers have too many forwards and not enough guards or centers. Yet, the Pistons were a team of many forwards, and they took it all.

i also hope that lakers find a nice free agent big man to sign, it's the only hole in the lineup in my opinion.

Vlade is the one that they're hoping for I believe. If they manage to get Vlade and re-sign Medvedenko, then the center position is pretty much set. It won't be amazing, but it won't be bad. Brian Grant will be free to play PF.
If Malone comes back, then Malone can start and Grant can be a reserve PF. This would be good for both of them since neither one really needs to be racking up too many minutes.
That would allow Odom to play SF with Butler as his reserve. Butler is decent starter quality, so to have him as a backup isn't too shabby. That would allow Odom to switch to PF sometimes when Malone or Grant are tired or if we need to quicken the pace.
I think with Rudy T as coach, Paytom will play much better. It's going to be a more traditional offense with screens that Payton can come off of. He'll start to shine again. He may not be dominant, but he'll be way better than he was last year.

Please take Vlade and his flopping a$$ out of Sactown. Get the Fcuk out of Sactown. Go Flop your a$$ with the Lakers. Vlade is one of the reasons why the Kings couldn't win a Championship aside from the $18 mil "Tinman" Webber.
dont forget about Cook and Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke! He really impressed me last year, and I'm sure he'll only be better. The Lakers have a very promising young roster with Luke, Cook, Rush, Slava, and that guy they just drafted. I really don't want Vlade. He doesn't even have a birth certificate to guarantee his age. I think he'll sign with the Clippers, because Lakers are probably going to use the extra money to resign Malone.
