Take a look at this and be amazed. It almost looks like minority report in the beggining of the movie.

Repost, but still amazing technology!

Id like to have that integrated into a wall of my house!

I wonder what kind of processing power that would take?

Multitouch is in the Apple iPhone. Screen's not as big, for that you'll need to buy next year's Mac

Yup, we're going to have a taste of it when the iPhone comes out.

I imagine a video game that uses this peripheral in which real children clean messy virtual bedrooms by scrambling to shove virtual toys under virtual beds. Meanwhile we'll be up to our ankles in real toys and real unused keyboards in their real bedrooms.

Also worth questioning: How will this affect online pr0n?

I tried to do some research on how much of multi-touch Apple owns and didn't come up with much. The guy who did the video doesn't work for Apple that I know (but he seems to be a fan of the iPhone). Apple bought a multi-touch company who made a touch pad sans the display. I just wasn't able to fully piece it together. They must have a team working on it but I don't know who's on it.
