After: Floor sucks, but once it's warmer the coating can go on.
Crappy Wall Socket Cover, but it's the only thing that would work at the moment.
The 10 T8's.....Going to have to think of a way to clean up the wires.
Any ideas on a trim piece for the base? One wall has a gap as seen int he second picture. So I was thinking of a flexible rubber type molding, but my dad thinks it will look like ass. Also the floor slopes down the whole way to the garage door for drainage.
wow the garage came out great. Im in the same boat and finally moved into my new home. Where did u purchase the T8 light fixtures? Im in desperate need of more lighting.

How about a painted 1x4 (it comes in a form of plastic at Home Depot) and a cap. You don't have to use the shoe molding , but oak would be a nice touch.
I don't know if I would use real wood on a garage floor that would be seeing liquids. The only molding I've seen that is around 6" is the wood though.
I would leave that concrete lip as is and epoxy it with the rest of the floor, and then attach any type of molding on that lip. Just avoid fiberboard pieces.
T8's I got at Lowes. 12 bucks each, they are the black housing T8's. 0 deg cold start, not to much of hum noise if any. I mean a garage is hardly dead quiet anyway. I have heard of some radio interference but have not had a problem yet! Love them. I also found Home Depot (at least around me) had the best price and options for bulbs.
Sounds good, I will have to check out that molding. I need something that will hold up to a jack bumping into etc.

I've used the extruded plastic baseboard from HD and it's really nice stuff. Use a compound mitre saw/mitre box to cut it just like wood. Cuts clean, pre-primed and impact resistant. It will take a lot of abuse.
