Garden References
We recently did a complete renovation of our outdoor landscape. Took everything out to the bare earth, and then re-planted. This was done by a professional design/landscape company.
Now it is time to maintain and I really need some help.
My biggest problem is timing of pruning. We have norway spruce, boxwood hedge, euonymus, rhododendron, etc which require shaping. We also have some existing specimens that require aggressive pruning to stimulate growth.
Although I have worked with our local agricultural cooperative extension office, I would like to build a reference library.
Thanks in advance.
Do you have pictures? maybe this could help for other to provide some thoughts on your pruning.
I usually do all pruning in the fall in my location, and after any flowering bushes.
I have a korean lilac tree that I like to shape, kinda of like a mushroom top. Last fall, will give flowers in the spring
