Garmin, Magellan, or TomTom?
I'm in urgent need of a navigation device (portable). are you current users of TomTom, Garmin, or Magellan? What are your takes on those?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Check out the Navman Pin 570. I just got one and it's great!! Also works as a pocket PC. Cost less than most GPS systems and more portable. Can be had for less than $500. Comes with the whole North America maps. Most only come with the US maps excluding Canada.
Rich, I've got the Garmin 2720 and like it very well. It sometimes wants a street instead of a county road and doesn't always take the local routes I use. It does help me find places and on a couple of recent trips it was very helpful. It also has traffic interface capabilities which would be great in a large city.
i use the garmin streetpilot c330, got it for a great price a few months ago.. the updated c340 has traffic capabilities if thats what interests you
I love the simplicity of it, it hasn't found a location only once.. wasn't in the database or something
