Question Gas has finally hit $3/gal!

Never thought I would see the day anytime soon, but it has come. It's slowing reaching the European rates, but European countries are tiny and require little distance to get to places. On the other hand, the U.S. is VAST!

I bet in Cali, it could've gone to over $3/gallon, huh?

I paid over $3 per gallon a year ago out in the middle of the desert somewhere past Mojave. It was like the only gas station for over a hundred miles. Nothing new.

Well, that was an exception. Nowadays, it's more like the norm. Crazy! One gallon doesn't get me far at all, and that's 3 bucks right there!

WA state. Actually, there's a local station that's selling $3.29/gallon for premium.

Same here in Dallas. I still can rationalize the cost as I never get less than 25 mpg around town (28 if I behave) and last time I checked 32 on the road.

I think for premium central Pennsylvania is about $2.50

I can imagine these prices would put the pinch on pizza delivery guys, salvage collectors (the guys who rummage through your garbage for metal), etc....
