Georgia Tax Refunds Revoked
Georgia's Department of Revenue made a calculation error on some of the tax filings so they retracted ALL of the refunds that had been paid by direct deposit.

This just *another* reason why you should have sufficient deductions such that you *owe* a little money on April 15th.
Anytime you receive tax refund, you've given the government a 12 month, interest free loan.

Wow... that seriously sucks. I wonder if that will cause people to stop using direct deposit for their refunds in the future... thereby costing the state even more money since they'll have to mail printed checks to more people.
That was just a stupid move, but what more can you expect from a government agency?
