Something that happened to me once:

Before I was 18, my debit card was in my mom's name because the bank insisted on it being this way. My checking account, my money, my paycheck from a real job... Buying CDs and Shoes I'd always get hassled. One day...on the way home from work (as a bussboy) I stopped at Circuit City..."Can I call your mom" she says...I understand completely, but my mom was taking a nap, and I knew this...so I say, "no that's okay" I've got cash. Here I am taking fifty something odd one-dollar bills out of my pocket. I held up the line and overloaded her one-dollar bill slot.
I know she was just doing her job, but I was fed up with it. We eventually got the bank to put my name on the card.
