I have not worked in almost 6 months and NOBODY is hiring !
this is normally not a good time of the year for hiring.
I'm sorry to hear about your scenario Silverstreak
not only is it historically a bad time to be searching (companies tend to hire after the new year -- no need to hit up already strained budgets at the end of the year) but the overall economy is fuct.

but it's really the dems fault for presuring banks to soften credit and loan money to folks who really weren't qualified in the name of better housing for the huddled masses.
i cant see how it could be a Dem problemo. the first 4 W years they were minority. the second 4 years they had the slightest majority.
anyways where to go from here.

Because the loose credit rulings came about under the Dems watch that's how.
^^^ CRA had good intents, but was abused (used to push sh*tty loans through so people could make money on the paper pushing aspect--e.g. shady mortgage brokers) and re-abused (made into synthetic securities) by greedy financial types.

And, it's the folks who overbought themselves into houses they couldn't afford too.
There is a lot of blame to go around, but Bush is not the proximate cause of this problem.
