Yeah, it's funny the first time they push the button, but I can see this becoming very annoying.

Sad thing is that every kid in America is going to want one of these damn things..

elmo is so creepy. mainly for two reasons:

1.) sexual ambiguity.... is elmo a he/she/it?
2.) why are kids so entranced by elmo? whenever my youngest nephew Julian starts crying when i babysit him, i always try to find sesame street on TV cause all i have to do it set him in front of the TV and as soon as he sees elmo he stops crying and goes into his weird "baby elmo trance." haha... it's cute, but also weird.

anyone else noticed this with their young'uns? kids LOVE elmo.

I wouldn't be annoyed if this wasn't posted. And since when does a kid need to get everything they wanted? It's not any indictment of childhood that kids want things. It IS an indictment of adults if they buy such things then piss and moan about it.

Do you have kids? If not, why do you care?

Today Show or somebody like that had the puppeteer behind Elmo on a couple weeks ago. His normal voice is NOTHING like Elmo's

Bought two and sold 'em on Ebay for double the price. However, I DIDN'T sell them for the hundreds that other jackasses are selling them for.

Yeah, I guess I'm a bad person like that

I'm lucky, my daughter's coming up on 21 months old and has no idea what TV is, never mind Sesame Street.
