the sad thing is that we have yet to see the best from the lakers in this series. if the pistons were beating the lakers when they are playing their best basketball, then that would be more palatable, but the way the lakers are playing right now, it is very disappointing. basically, none of the role players have the confidence to shoot the basketball and thus hessitates or passes off the ball, and noone is helping kobe out. a screen here and there, and a few cuts to the paint by the role players will make kobe's job a lot more productive and effective; instead, you see them standing around on the perimeter watching kobe get tripple-teamed. the lakers are losing not because of shaq or kobe, but because of the role players.
