I get a kick out of these Yankee haters. It's an obvious declaration of their own inferiority when they do this.

It's sort of like the fat ugly girls in school talking behind the pretty girl's back ("she's a slut", "yea she's a bitch"). Or some redneck in a beat up old pickup who cut's you off when you're driving your S2000 because he's jealous.

Life long Yankee fan here, regardless even if I wasn't it would be good to the Yanks win. The city of NY could use a little bit of happiness and something to cheer about.

 

The d-backs looked so bad last night. But yet they still only lost by one run.

Come on Kurt we need another gem tonight.

And Mariano is just amazing. Nobody was even close to hitting him. The d-backs need to keep him out of the game.

Can you say salary cap? Well... until the MLB learns that phrase the Yankees will probably win every World Series, not that I'm complaining being a New Yorker (stuck in Florida). The Yankees just keep buying more talent, what will they do next year when they add Barry Bonds to their roster?

 

the yanks won't get barry bonds...too much money...he doesn't quite fit in...he would rather stay in SF and SF won't want to let him go. they will probably get jason giambi a couple of utility outfielders and maybe a pitcher (starter and middle relief)

other than that i don't see much change...would be nice to have a change at 3rd base...eventhough he got that clutch hit last night brosius sux....there are so many other times he's choked rather than come through...i can't stand him anymore. he used to be great at fielding and lately he's made some costly errors...never liked him...hope they get rid of them...

salary cap is the stupidest thing around...i hate watching football cause of the salary cap...you never have dynasties or great teams over a period of time...the phillies, twins, and a's are three teams that disprove the theory of salary cap makes for good baseball....all 3 solid teams and all three are amongst the league's lowest salary payroll.

 

I agree that the salary cap sucks but if they're going to screw up football with it then they might as well screw up baseball too.
