I know a guy who was a tester for propecia. Its supposed to be the most effective. Go to the doc and get a prescription. You take a daily pill. It is supposed to cost like $30 a month and the guy I know, actually I knew his girlfriend, she said he was suffering one of the side effects which was limp winkey, but thats in only a couple percent of people.

Don't know if propecia worked for the guy, but I ended up dating the girl for a while. She was a gymnast. Hold on, what were we talking about?

Plus, I was thinning up top around the same time (I'm 30 now). I looked into Rogaine and actually tried it for a week. By the end of the week I managed to find out that it's supposedly a life-long commitment. That's too much maintenance for my tastes, so I stopped using it right away. Since that week of Rogaine use, I could swear that my hair has actually thinned a bit more aggressively. It could all just be my imagination and perhaps I was destined to have a semi-thinned out dome.

Whatever... Now I'm just following the "shave head + work out" routine. I'm married already, but my wife likes it...

And, I'm going to assume that you've got normal ears. I don't. Mine are huge. To say they "stick out" would be an understatement. Somehow they're perpendicular to the side of my head. I think if I can get over losing hair sooner than my friends, having freakishly large protruding ears and having a drag coefficient of 5... You'll be fine with whatever hand nature just dealt you.

Good luck!
If you read the directions about Rogaine... then you would find out that when you use it for the first week it causes you to lose hair in the beginning (you lose the retarded hair, fine hair). If you keep using Rogaine its supposed to regrow the hair you lost but more healthy.

Try looking into Propecia. It's a pill you have to take once everyday for the rest of you life.

Propecia gives you limp dick. So choose your poison, having a limp pecker or thinning hair.

Sadly, this isn't far from the truth. Grew up with the name... Bugged me then, not so much any more.

It wasn't actually the accelerated hair loss that bothered me. As I said, it was the rumor that I would have to use Rogaine for life. If that is the case, it's too much work and I don't care enough about how I look to others to go through with it. If that is not the case, I still don't care enough about how I look to bother.

But thanks, at least now when my friends dip into it, I'll have the good sense to tell them to read the instructions thoroughly.
