Default Going on a Cruise...

Looks like i'll be going on my first cruise in march out of miami on Carnival cruise line. Just wanted to see If anyone has any input on good/bad experiences with this cruise line particulary the ship "Fascination." Looking at getting an ocenview room, but wondering if the suite room with balcony is worth the extra money? Thanks for your help! Tom

balcony is worth it for 7 days or longer. Dont forget that two of those days will have formal dinners so bring formal attire.

actually been on two carnival cruises, one three day and one 7days. They are a blast! Pretty much all throughout your stay, theres always food avaialble! Just make sure you take dramamin(I don't think I spelled that right) and you'll be all set!

Awesome, good info! Im looking at a 4 day right now so I guess i'll forget the suite for now and save the rest for the casino. Unless is it true that you get better service and get bumped up in lines for boarding when you have a suite??

Be carefull you don't get an obstructed view. Even with a balcany you can get a lifeboat right in your face.

i would never get an inside state room again. messes up your circadian rhythm pretty badly. you don't have any sense of time.
carnival food is quite good compared to royal carribean.

also if you're planning excursions, book'em early since they fill up pretty quickly.

the cheaper the cruise, the more likely you get laid, generally not the 7 day cruises, although ive seen it happen, literally
