Default Good computer monitor?

Hey guys, my SyncMaster 955df is slowly dying on me; it becomes blurry very often causing my eyes to strain -_-*

So I wondered if anyone knows of a good monitor, hopefully around 19" for 300? ^_^

Nokia is very good, so is NEC. Above all, if you dont want a flat panel, get a flat screen (large monitor that has a flat screen instead of curved). Make sure the DPI isnt bad either, .27 and below is best.

My exp w/cheap LCDs has been bad. Get a good one ...NEC MultiSync 1980SX is what I'm using now.

If you still want a cheap one at closeout/bargain price with factory warranty try:

Viewsonic CRTs seem to have a good track record also but who wants 90 lb gorilla on their desk these days? Go flat.

I've been using the NEC Multisync 3FGe 15" monitor since 97, and I've never had any problems with it over the years. I would recommend any NEC flat-panel or flat screen monitors in the market today..

I agree with the flat screen, its best to spend a little more with better picture and space, not to mention the savings on shipping costs!

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll go with the viewsonic flat screen, not panel heh. Flat panels are out of my range.
