Good deal?
So I won this about a month ago Samsung Plasma it is obviously refurbished, but it is in GREAT shape. They rated it a C due to some scratches but I cant really see any. TV looks to be 9/10 condition
So I've had it for a month and NO problems at all. Great picture quality, can't say much for sound because I always use my surround speakers. What are you guys feelings on refurb items
I've personally never had an issue with them. I bought a refurb xbox 360 years ago and have never had a single problem with that either.

Refurb items are hit and miss bro. If they fixed what was wrong with it then yes, great. If they didn't get ready for a series of headaches in the long run. On high quality electronics, it's best to just save up and buy the most reputable brand new. But whatever. If you're happy. That's all the matters amigo.
its ok,
looks like it is 1024x768, not true HD widescreen, but the display will scale for you. also it does not accept 1080p, but i run all my stuff on 720p and it is still great.
there are similar if not better deals out there, but you did fine.
i purchase some stuff refurb. most of it has no problems whatsoever and are just customer returns.

My PS3 is a refurb.. essentially... I ordered it broken off of ebay for $150.. and fixed it myself (it needed a new bluray lense which can be ordered for about 50-$60) and I have never had a problem with it... Refurbs are hit or miss.. I myself usually stay away from refurbs... but if a good deal comes about (a really good deal) sometimes it is worth the risk... just dont kick yourself if it doesnt last long

i got a refurb at&t tilt before and when it got to me i couldnt use the hand set, couldnt hear anything, the phone had to be on speaker all the time to hear the other party talking. never getting anything refurbished again, i'm gonna shell out the extra money to get the shit brand f'n new
Refurbs are typically fine. A lot of the time they will be brand new, never used items that were just opened and returned. They cannot legally be sold as new once opened, so they get sent to the factory for testing (which is often more stringent than the initial quality control), and repackaged as a refurbed item.

I bought a refurb Zune about 2 years ago off Woot.com and it's been running like a champ. I've dropped it, bumped it and generally abused it and it's still cranking away like brand new.
