Default Good deal on winter / cold weather driving gloves

I found a deal on what look like good cold weather driving gloves and thought other people here might be interested. They are $1.99 plus shipping if you use the coupon code BETA:

https://www.palmflex.com/product.php?productid=1666

They should be plenty warm, are pre-curved so they should fit well, and have grippy surfaces on the palm and fingers.

The site also has Gorgonz 750s on sale for $6.99. They are good work and mechanics gloves:

https://www.palmflex.com/product.php?productid=1160

Shipping is $4.95 for up to 3 pairs if you choose USPS Priority and they take paypal. I've bought Ironclad gloves from this site before and have had good luck with them.

Driving gloves increase the intimacy with your machine. When you insulate against weather to any large degree you forfeit some of that feel.

'''Driving gloves''' are designed for holding a steering wheel and transmitting the feeling of the road to the driver. They provide a good feel add comfort. They are designed to be worn tight and to not interfere with the hands movements. The increased grip allows for more control, and increased safety at speed.

Racing gloves like your Sparco, are primarily Nomex to guard against heat and flame. The thin leather which in essence is what driving gloves are all about, is sewn onto the palms and fingers. Gran Prix racers before Nomex developed driving gloves into what they are today.

Gauntlets are used to provide extra protection. In cars this is primarily thermal protection, so there is no space between the gloves and the racing overalls. Driving gloves for the street evolved to have short cuffs so as not to interfere in any way the driver’s wrist movements.

I got the Mechanix M-Pacts from Palmflex last year for $6.99.

They're great. I love them.
