To be fair to the couple, the kid's car wasn't rated for off-road use.

And "Floridians are stupid" is a statement similar to "fire burns" in this context.

 

What was going thru their minds when they thought up this idea?

Too bad they have already populated the gene pool!

Remember a lot of "Floridians" moved there from somewhere else, especially from the Northeast. And as to what was going through their heads, evidently a disproportionately small amount of grey matter and excessive alcohol.

I had the displeasure of staying at a hotel filled with Central Florida students and I can vouch for their drunken stupidity.

 

"Birds of a feather......................." Oh, and I've had a similar misfortune of being in a hotel with drunk kiddies, not fun!

 

Being grandparents at age 40 might have something to do with it...
