I've been on slick deals for ages. Although you have to really be in the forums to get the good stuff before its gone/cancelled/fixed.
I've gotten free 17" monitors, picked up camera almost half price what BB was selling it for. Same deal with two Navi's. Free oil changes. Got my HD dvd player for $200 +10 hd dvds from there.
More or less the site just helps you find really good deals on things that would otherwise be sold out by the time you found out on your own. Picked up an Xbox 360 Harmony programmable remote for $32 also. Not to mention Call of Duty 4 for the 360 for $40 on launch day.
